Looking back, I feel truly fortunate that during these 30+ years in the Department, I landed in roles that, for the most part, played to my strengths, and allowed me not just chances to succeed, but the opportunity to work with an amazing group of people! I thank each and every one of you for the time we spend working together… especially those of you where we were forging new paths, whether it was policy, practice, procedure… or a new system!
I wish you all the best as you go forward… Remember to check your MyLACERA Retirement Estimator, to use your Comp time before your Non-Elective Leave, and don’t be afraid to ask the “stupid” questions (you know someone else has that same question… you are not alone!)
